Kylin Server deployment

Deploy HelpChat Server 13 on Kylin Server V10. Both x86_64 and ARM64 (Kunpeng, Phytium) architectures are supported.

The deployment steps are the same on every Linux distribution. For the full procedure, see Ubuntu Server deployment.

1. Choose the right package

# x86_64 → download the amd64 version
# aarch64 (Kunpeng 920, Phytium) → download the arm64 version

2. Deployment steps

tar -xzf HelpChat_Server_Linux_<arch>_<version>.tar.gz
cd HelpChat_Server_Linux_<arch>_<version>

sudo mkdir -p /opt/helpchat_server
sudo cp -r * /opt/helpchat_server/
cd /opt/helpchat_server

sudo chmod +x helpchatsvr
sudo chmod +x bin/ffmpeg bin/ffprobe bin/hcupdater

sudo ./helpchatsvr install
sudo ./helpchatsvr start
sudo ./helpchatsvr status

3. Run mode and database configuration

Edit the [runtime] and [database] sections in config/helpchatsvr.ini. See sections 6 and 7 of Ubuntu Server deployment for details.

4. Firewall configuration

sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=6800/tcp
sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=6866/tcp
sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=6888/tcp
sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=6816/tcp
sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=6898/tcp
sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=6980/tcp
sudo firewall-cmd --reload
